During a recent Readers' Workshop we noticed that a student was making jots as she read. When we stopped to confer with her about her reading she shared that the character in her book learned what a bibliophile was and realized that she was one, too. Our student had the same Aha! moment in her own reading and jotted down "Me too! Bibliophile for life!" We love our community of readers!
